The 4th
Dirk Vandersypen Award was presented on March 16, 2005
(Vooruit - Ghent)
Host of the ceremony was VRT presenter Phara de Aguirre.
She announced fragments of the three nominated
documentaries and had an interview with winning documentary
maker Tanja Hamilton. Tanja personally received the cash
prize and the trophy.
Zehn Tage, ein ganze Leben was shown in its entirety on the
large screen before a large and interested public. Later on
the winning documentary was broadcast on VRT CANVAS.
